(Beijing, December 9) Willy Kanis of the Netherlands became the fastest rider in the women's keirin event of the "Good Luck Beijing" UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics as she won the gold of the final at Laoshan Velodrome in Beijing today.

A total of 29 riders participated in the non-Olympic event and 6 elites came out from the heat and revival rounds to enter the final.

Dutch Willy Kanis pocketed the title while Christin Muche of Great Britain and Natallia Tsylinskaya of Belarus settled for second and third respectively.
